At Moon Valley, we don't just value baptism, we celebrate it! Baptism Sundays are a morning devoted especially to those participating, and we strive to make it a memorable morning for everyone.
If baptism is something you would like to do at Moon Valley, please note that we ask for you to pre-record a special testimony video prior to your baptism Sunday. This video gets played during service as you make your way to the baptismal.

There's a lot we do in our lives because Jesus tells us to, and baptism is part of that. We see baptism as a step of faith in obeying what Jesus commanded us to do as a public expression of personal faith in Jesus. When did he say that?
"Go, therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit." (Matthew 28:19)
If you believe in Jesus but haven't been baptized yet, know that being baptized isn't a requirement of salvation, but simply an act of obedience to Christ Jesus.
Baptism is also a symbol of what Jesus did when he died on the cross for our sins. He died, was buried, and rose again to wash away the sins for ALL who will believe. Baptism is a portrait of this spiritual reality.
"Or do you not know that all of us have been baptized into Christ Jesus have been baptized into His death? Therefore we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life." (Romans 6:3-4)
"Having been buried with Him in baptism, in which you were also raised up with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead." (Colossians 2:12)
